License terms for using Kairo on iOS
This EULA governs the limited license to install and use Kairo on Apple-branded devices that you own or control.
License Grant
Last updated: April 5, 2026
Kairo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the app on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use and subject to this agreement.
This license does not grant you any rights to future updates, upgrades, or new versions of Kairo. Any updates provided to you are subject to this agreement unless accompanied by a separate license.
Scope And Restrictions
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Redistribute, sublicense, lease, lend, sell, publish, or otherwise transfer Kairo to third parties.
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the app except where such use is expressly allowed by law.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices included in the app.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features, alarm validation, or subscription verification mechanisms.
Subscription Terms
Kairo offers a 3-day free trial on both the Monthly plan at R$29,90 and the Annual plan at R$199,90.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when purchasing a subscription.
Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. Your continued use of Kairo after a price change constitutes your agreement to the new price.
Updates And Availability
Kairo may release updates to improve performance, add features, or address security issues. Updates may be required to continue using the app. Kairo does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
Service availability depends on network connectivity, device compatibility, and third-party platform services. Kairo is not responsible for interruptions caused by factors outside its reasonable control.
Third-Party Services
By using Kairo, you understand that parts of the service rely on third-party infrastructure:
- Supabase for authentication and application data storage.
- RevenueCat for subscription status tracking and purchase management.
- Groq API for transient AI-based photo validation.
- Apple platform services for notifications, payments, and Sign-In.
Your use of those integrations may also be subject to their separate terms and privacy practices. Kairo is not liable for third-party service interruptions, changes, or data practices.
Content Ownership And Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to Kairo — including its software, design, branding, graphics, text, sounds, and related materials — are owned by the licensor and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Photos captured for alarm validation are used only for transient verification. Kairo does not store those images after validation is completed. You retain ownership of photos you take, but grant Kairo a limited, temporary license to process them for validation purposes.
Termination
This license terminates automatically if you violate this agreement. You may terminate it at any time by deleting your account, uninstalling the app, and ceasing use.
Upon termination, your right to use Kairo ends immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and governing law survive termination.
Disclaimers And Liability
Kairo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Kairo does not warrant that the app will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be free from errors or harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to missed alarms, lost data, or interruptions to your routine.
Severability
If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
Governing Law And LGPD
This agreement is governed by the laws of Brazil, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Kairo acknowledges user rights under the LGPD for personal data processed in connection with the service, including the right to access, correction, deletion, and information about data sharing.
