End User License Agreement

The license terms for installing and using Kairo on Apple devices you own or control.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

License grant

Kairo grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the app on iOS devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to this agreement.

This license does not grant rights to future updates. Any updates provided are covered by this agreement unless they come with a separate license.

Scope and restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where the law expressly permits it.
  • Redistribute, sublicense, lease, lend, sell, or otherwise transfer Kairo to third parties.
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the app, except where the law allows it.
  • Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with security features, wake-up validation, or subscription verification.

Subscription terms

Kairo offers a 7-day free trial on the Annual plan (R$199,90). The Monthly plan (R$29,90) and the Weekly plan (R$14,90) are available without a free trial.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Prices may change. Any change takes effect at the start of the next subscription period, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new price. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for licensed applications also applies to your use of Kairo.

Updates and availability

Kairo may release updates to improve performance, add features, or address security. Updates may be required to keep using the app. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation; availability depends on network connectivity, device compatibility, and third-party platform services.

Third-party services

Parts of Kairo rely on third-party infrastructure. Your use of these integrations may also be subject to their own terms and privacy practices:

  • Apple Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and push notification delivery.
  • Google Google Sign-In authentication.
  • Supabase Database, authentication, file storage, and server functions.
  • RevenueCat Subscription and purchase management.
  • PostHog Product analytics.
  • Groq AI inference used to validate wake-up photos and text.
  • Expo (EAS) App infrastructure and push notification delivery.
  • DiceBear Avatar image generation from a seed.
  • Vercel Website hosting.

Content ownership and wake-up photos

All rights, title, and interest in Kairo — its software, design, branding, graphics, text, sounds, and related materials — belong to the licensor and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Photos captured for wake-up validation are used only for transient verification and are not stored after the check completes. You keep ownership of the photos you take and grant Kairo a limited, temporary license to process them for validation.

Community standards

Kairo's social features are subject to the community standards in our Terms of Use, including a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abuse, in-app reporting and blocking, and removal of violating content and users within 24 hours of a report.

Terms of Use

Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate this agreement. You can end it at any time by deleting your account, uninstalling the app, and ceasing use. On termination, your right to use Kairo ends immediately; provisions on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive.

Disclaimers and liability

Kairo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including missed alarms, lost data, or interruptions to your routine.

Severability and governing law

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect and the provision is modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable. This agreement is governed by the laws of Brazil, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live, and Kairo acknowledges your rights under the LGPD, including access, correction, deletion, and information about data sharing.
