Before You Contact Support

Most issues can be resolved quickly by checking the following:

  • Make sure you are running the latest version of Kairo from the App Store.
  • Verify that notifications are enabled for Kairo in your iPhone Settings.
  • Check that Do Not Disturb and Focus modes are not blocking alarm alerts.
  • If photo validation fails, try a well-lit environment and hold your phone steady.
  • For subscription issues, confirm you are signed into the correct Apple ID.

FAQ

Create an alarm inside the iOS app, choose your wake-up time, pick a validation routine, and save it so Kairo can trigger the reminder locally on your device.

When an alarm rings, Kairo asks you to capture a photo for the selected challenge. The image is processed transiently through the app's validation flow and is not stored after the check completes.

Photo validation uses AI to verify you completed the challenge. Make sure the photo is well-lit, in focus, and clearly shows the required subject. Blurry, dark, or unrelated photos will be rejected. Try again in a brighter environment.

Kairo relies on iOS local notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled for Kairo in Settings > Notifications, Do Not Disturb is not active, and your device is not in Low Power Mode. Also check that the alarm is toggled on inside the app.

Open your iPhone Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, then select Kairo and cancel before the current period ends.

Apple processes subscription charges up to 24 hours before the renewal date. If you canceled within that window, the charge may have already been authorized. Contact Apple Support directly for refund requests, as billing is managed entirely by Apple.

Inside the app, use the restore purchases action on the paywall or settings screen while signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase.

Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID on each device and restore purchases. Your subscription, alarms, and streak data sync across devices tied to the same account.

If you miss a scheduled alarm validation, your active streak resets to zero. Your longest streak record is preserved in your profile so you can always see your personal best.

Alarms will still ring without internet because they use local notifications. However, photo validation requires a network connection to process the AI check. If you are offline when the alarm rings, you may need to reconnect before dismissing it.

Open the alarm you want to edit, tap the sound option, and choose from the available tones. You can preview each sound before saving.

Open the Kairo app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account. Your account and data will be removed within 30 days.

System Requirements

  • iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later.
  • Camera access required for photo-based alarm validation.
  • Notification permissions required for alarm delivery.
  • Internet connection required for photo validation and account sync.

Subscription Management

Kairo subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple. To view, change, or cancel your plan:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select Kairo to manage or cancel your plan.

Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through their Report a Problem page or the App Store. Kairo does not process billing or refunds.
